Solo Training for Contact Improvisers June 6 - 8, 2025 Berkeley, CA at The Finnish Hall "I am so delighted Ezra is offering this material. It is what we desperately need at this moment in CI!" -Nita Little Workshops that focus on solo training for contact improvisers to build a foundation for joyful, radical, expressive contact improvising with Ezra LeBank (LA) and Nhu Nguyen (SD). Plus CI Jams at the end of each day, Live Music, Naps & Snacks Galore!! We will study rolling, sliding, inversion, hand balance, the small dance adapted to precarity, ascending/descending, spinal integration, sequencing, and listening/adaptation practice. These, along with framing and scores, will support our improvising alone and together each day.
