1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ZOUK OC @ GALA PARTY @ AUGUST 21ST

One year ago, I moved to California to help grow the zouk community. Joe Sandoval had recruited me to start a new class and social in Orange County. He brought me from Brazil and also recruited Igor Fraga to come and assist. Together with Serena Healey and Alexey we started “Kizouk OC Wednesday”. This was the original name and day. Prior to this there was no zouk in this part of Los Angeles, known as OC. So, one year of “Ruaning around”, as some of my students coined it, and we are proud to show growth of zouk in Los Angeles and Orange County! We’ve gone from having no events during the week to events almost every day! Including monthly socials and rooms at various clubs dedicated to zouk. We are proud to have one of the best classes and socials in the US! (just a little bragging!) I can tell you guys that making a community grow and keep a weekly event is hard work, but keeping it growing is even harder. Although, hard work was never a problem for us, so who cares? We want to celebrate this 1 year of dedication with you by celebrating an unforgettable night!!!
