10 YEARS of TANGO-LOVES-CONTACT !! - NYC

Please put the SOUND ON and turn your phone SIDEWAYS 🙏 THIS Friday 19 JUNE is the 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY of one of the most alternative tango socials in the world. TANGO-LOVES-CONTACT started off in Berlin at Salon Incanto Berlin with Jasminka Stenz as an experiment because contact-impro was making our Tango happier every time we would warm-up at the daily Berliner contact-jam right before going to the milongas, and it became obvious that contact-improv introductions were greatly improving our tango teaching experience as well. For the last 10 years, it has been a fantastic journey for Tango-Loves-Contact dance socials, starting in Berlin 🩶 and going through Paris 💙, Ukraine 💛, Buenos Aires 🩵, Montevideo ❤️, and now New York 💜 !! No rules, dance 100% Tango, Contact-improv dance, or solo — or whatever moves you. Everything is optional, always. Warm welcome to newcomers in any form of dance. We listen to each dance with care, whatever our experience with touch. This Friday, Jerimy Rivera joins us for the mini contact-improv* dance class, and Hanna for the mini tango class. (*A social dance born in NYC) Ps. And next Thursday 25 June, is Tango-Loves-Fusion with Flouer Evelyn, international Blues Fusion Dance teacher, and it happen to be casually my birthday that day as well ^^ Pps.
