Their repertoire has a wide range from gentle to happy and energizing. Beltango has played all around the world, visited more than 30+ countries. They are the only European tango orchestra invited by the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires to perform at the Buenos Aires World Tango Festival.They played in many tango-shows as co-authors and musical directors in collaboration with some of the greatest tango artists in the world like Miguel Angel Zotto, Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes and many more... We can hardly believe that we have already run 150 salons in 15 years! We are very happy that Taboe is just as alive, vibrant, warm and creative 'tango-home' for us and for many dancers as at the beginning. Who remembers what it was like in the beautiful round hall in the woods of Bosch en Duin? We were - as the first in the Netherlands - experimenting with a different kind of music than tango for a more relaxed and creative atmosphere and for a freer way of dancing. We had homemade vegetable & other snacks and sauces by Paul. Everyone kept up her/his drinks by writing on a list and paid (usually) only on departure. We had always a light, cheerful and connected atmosphere.
