He has an Honours degree in Community Education and worked as a youth worker, adult education classes organiser and in the City of Edinburgh Council as a Community Centre Manager. Sagi’s encountered Latin music at an early age. Born to Jewish family who came from Spain and Morocco, Spanish and Latin music was a daily routine in the house. This influenced his love for Latin music. Sagi teaches styles of Latin dance including Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Cha Cha, Merengue and Rueda Casino. Sagi’s love and passion for the music is very apparent in not only his teaching but also in his dancing. He is well known for making his followers feel as if they are the best dancer in the world. Sagi is also a lot of fun on the dance floor. RASA Rasa is an absolutely amazing dancer with a beautiful, elegant style, which inspires and captivates all that behold her. She has become an exceptionally accomplished dancer/ performer and was winner of the 2011 freestyle Salsa and Bachata championships in the UK. Rasa has also gained much experience over the last few years as a teacher of both Salsa and Bachata – with a great teaching style that seamlessly blends her passion and enthusiasm for dancing with a fun, friendly, student centered and accessible approach. Lately Rasa has been travelling all around the UK, Europe and outside places like Miami and Dominican Republic teaching people in big congresses and also small private gatherings. She has also featured in the Movie ‘Cuban Fury’. Now Rasa also stepped in the performers’ world. She has danced with Salsa wizard Phillip Langlais, and even trained with the internationally accomplished dancers African Jet. Currently she is working on a new show. DARRAN & VAVA Darran and Vava have been teaching and performing throughout the UK and Ireland for more than 10years. Each having gained vast experience and first hand training from some of the very best salsa teachers in the UK and their love and passion for Salsa comes across clearly in their classes. Darran and Vava now live in Bristol and have expanded their reach and popularity. Their class structure, organisation, techniques and skills have seen them help set up and run one of the most popular Salsa nights, as well as their own weekly classes and ever growing monthly party. With their relaxed and fun approach, attention to detail and encouraging method they seemingly always get the best from their students. 'We can't imagine life without Salsa! Soo much fun!' DJ LEO DJ LEO is passionate about good music. He has always been a music lover. Since childhood he has had “an ear “for music and a talent for understanding what makes a hit. His gift for mixing Salsa music is unanimous. He has a unique style that cannot be imitated and knows how to bring his crowd to life with his music. When he was student, he always organized parties. His fate changed when he attended the concert of Africando (Aicha), one of the best African Salsa Groups. It was in 2004, that he was introduced for the first time to the public by JOSH aka Dr. Rumba (Afrimania). Leo has played in every Salsa Congress that Josh has organized in Ireland. The person, who inspires, thought and gives him his taste for Salsa is DJ HENRY KNOWLES, known as number one in the world. Leo played beside him for 4 years. DJ LEO performs Salsa parties once a month, the last Saturday of every month for the last 10 years and knows how to impress these influential and demanding clients.
