Robbo is enjoying increasing International popularity especially in Europe, the US, Africa, the Carribean and Japan. In 1998, Robbo took Dancehall to London’s west and held down an 11 year residency with his weekly ‘Uptown Splurt’ parties at Cameo’s Nights Club. Pulling audience of 400 plus hosting act such as Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Shaggy, Stonelove and Bass Odyssey to name but a few. After a short spell on Londons Choice FM, in 2002 Robbo was called to present on a new challenging project by the BBC, the black music station 1Xtra. October 2014 launched his very own platform ‘Robbo Ranx Radio’. There you can hear him, constantly searching to expose Reggae dancehalls new talent. With an ability to communicate with his audiences, Robbo Ranx is regarded as an integral player in the growth of Dancehall in the UK, which was once seen as minority music.
