🌊 17th Warsaw CI FLOW 2026 - Open call for lab & workshop facilitators This year, we turn toward water — the element that quietly shapes our bodies, landscapes, and ways of being together. Inspired by the writing of Jolanta Brach-Czaina, we explore fluidity as a living principle of the body: sensing gravity, falling, yielding, and reorganising through movement and contact. We invite teachers to join us in cultivating practices that deepen listening, embodied inquiry into gravity, and the subtle dialogue between bodies, earth, and space. This year, there will be three blocks of events: ▪️ 9-10 July: pre-festival workshops with Klara Łucznik and Michał Ratajski ▪️ 11- 16 July: the festival itself, with intensive tracks led by Karen Nelson together with Nica Portavia, Rick Nodine and Zuzanna Bukowski, as well as labs selected from this call ▪️ 17- 19 July: a three-day post-festival jam – time to be together in dance. Share your skills and passion for CI. We're looking for facilitators and teachers to lead single afternoon classes or labs in our festival. In exchange for your support, we're offering 1000 PLN (approx. 230 euros) per single 2h class, an invitation to a day-long teachers' meeting and a full pass for the post-festival long jam. We're specifically seeking facilitators for the following: ▪️ CI basics skills ▪️ CI consent & boundaries ▪️ Ensemble skills ▪️ CI & performance practice ▪️ CI & acrobatics ▪️ CI & human skills ▪️ CI research, discussions, reflections (in movement or words) ▪️ Bodyworks ▪️ and other…. If you feel that you want to support Warsaw CI Flow this year, please share with us a short (max 300 words) description of your lab/class/practice, a short bio (150 words) and a photo or video of yourself dancing. We welcome new ideas, yet we encourage you to experiment with your material before bringing it to the festival.
