2 DAY BALBOA FUNDAMENTALS

Level: Beginner friendly (and for those wanting a basics refresher or wanting to learn the opposite role: leader/follower) Join Us to start your Balboa journey or to refresh your fundamentals. No dance experience necessary! Balboa is a partner dance originating in Southern California. While often done to faster tempos, there is still plenty of time for fancy rhythms, playfulness between partners, and a lot of fun! These sessions are beginner friendly individually, but to maintain the flow of class and for a full immersion into Balboa, we encourage you to take both. By the end of both sessions, you will have all the basics to join us at Balboa social dances. SATURDAY, September 5th: Part 1: This session will focus on the basic steps & connection (Pure Bal & Out and Ins) SUNDAY, September 6th: Part 2: This session will introduce rotation & turns (Lollies & Toss Outs) -Must Register for this class by Thursday September 3rd.
