We are in luck! Lena Thieme is teaching a special workshops this Wednesday evening! You may have had the fortune to dance with her Or take her class at the Hawaii Zouk Festival this last weekend! If not, get ready!! Workshops will be open to all levels of dancers and include: 8pm: 1. The 6 Foundational Basic Steps of Lambada (American Lambada Association) 2. Wifi training 9pm: 3. The Cabeça Clock 4. LambaZouk Sequences for Social dancing Apply your Lambada now! Whether you’re a complete beginner or avid Zoukeiro, Lambada will bring fun and joy to your dance!!!! Cost: 20.00 for one hour 30.00 for two hours Social dancing included in workshops 10.00 Social only Lena Thieme has extensive LambaZouk experience over the last decade. She has traveled as an instructor, performer, as well as physical therapist all over North & South America, Europe, Australia, Japan, and South Africa. She has trained, taught, and performed professionally with Braz Dos Santos (an original master of Lambada), Felipe Lira, Joel Beall, and with Brazouka, the internationally touring Brazilian dance company. She is a council member of the American Lambada Association and Director of Dance Injury Rehabilitation at West Portland Physical Therapy Clinic. She is passionate about injury prevention in her dance teaching methodologies.
