There is free on street parking available. ⭐ CLASS AND PARTY COSTS: - £10 for the night (classes and/or social) - cash on the door - Discount for students - £2 off ABOUT US: Sergio is from Zaragoza, Spain, which is the Country origin of the new wave of Bachata called "Sensual Bachata". He has been dancing Latin rhythms for over 14 years. He started teaching Bachata in Oxford over eight years ago running regular classes and creating a new Bachata Community in Oxford. Sergio had training with the best teacher in the World of Bachata and he is one of the first generation Sensual Bachata instructors trained by Korke and Judith the creators of Sensual Bachata. His classes focus on social dancing aspects of leading and following of Bachata. Fascinated by the magic of non-scripted dances, he present un-choreographed demonstrations that are orientated towards the origins of the dances which are lead-based, but wouldn't be the same without a follower. He is one of the teachers of the Oxford University Salsa Society and runs regular classes in Oxford; He is a regular guest teacher and perform workshops at many events around UK. Sergio is an event Promoter. He is also Latin Social Dance Dj and he have regular nights in Oxford and he is a guess teacher in many events around UK. We will teach a mix of bachata sensual, modern and Dominican catering all levels: beginners - improvers - intermediate, led by amazing teachers: Jan Tabaka and Victoria Fletcher, Sandra Sanchez Ligero and guest teacher Sergio Fernandez! All together we've created the biggest bachata community in South West! The classes aim to teach you the beauty of Sensual & Dominican Bachata (Latin Dances) to help you enjoy your social dancing. You will learn: - basic steps and technique of Sensual & Dominican Bachata - fun and easy to lead moves and routines - musicality - how to interact with the music - men's and ladies' styling - how to connect with your partner and really enjoy your dancing. No partner or previous dancing experience required. Just come along and have some fun :) ⭐ WHAT IS IT SENSUAL BACHATA? Sensual bachata was created in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, by Korke Escalona and Judith Cordero. Korke learned the basics of bachata in 1998; then he started developing his own dance style by understanding how the leader (traditionally a man) could lead the body of the follower (traditionally a woman) to interpret the music. Sensual bachata is an independent dance form with strict lead and follow principles. The dance is an interpretation of the music with mostly circular movements and body waves.
