In Lak’ech Dance Academy is proud to open our doors to new and returning students. Here is your opportunity to join a major Bay Area Salsa & Bachata Dance Academy. You’ll train, and perform at major festivals. You will also become a part of a beautiful queer, trans, and ally dance community. Under the direction of 2X World Champions Angelica & Jahaira. Here are step by step instructions on how to submit your AUDITION. 1) You must fill out the In Lak’ech student application by January 9th at noon. This is the DEADLINE to apply: https://forms.gle/vwcN1YJS1fDBW7qT9 2) Once we have your application we will send you a video with a sequence to learn on January 10th by 5pm. 3) You will then have two full days to learn the sequence we send you, record yourself doing it and send it back to us by January 12th at 5pm, to [email protected] THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE NO EXCEPTIONS. 📣 MANDATORY VIRTUAL ORIENTATION: Jan 31st 7-9pm. 📣 In Person Rehearsals start Feb 1st at Flying Studios, in Oakland CA. 🌟COVID - 19 Protocol for In-Person Rehearsals🌟 ▫️All Team Members must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. ▫️We are requiring that all team members be fully masked during rehearsals, with n95/kn95 masks ONLY. We will have one mask to supply at first but you will be responsible to always attend rehearsals with this particular mask. ▫️Rehearsals will be conducted in a large space with open doors. We also have four (4) huge floor fans to keep our rehearsal space ventilated and safe as possible. We look forward to training and dancing with you in a safe and supportive environment.
