Fervent défenseur du vinyle, co-fondateur de l’Atelier 210 et instigateur des soirées Tropical (désormais Bal Poussière), des Blackout Sessions (écoutes dans les noir) et tant d’autres depuis 2 déennies, Funky Bompa teste ses trouvailles et partage ses recherches en radio sur Kiosk et Bruzz 98.8FM, avec son soundsystem minimaliste Single Platine et lorsqu’on lui confie l’ambiance de nuits chaloupées. Starting with the warm grooves of funk, soul and jazz, Funky Bompa quickly added the irresistible latin and afro rhythms to the dance after his caribbean trips on the search for that perfect record. Founder of the Tropical parties (now Bal Poussière), Blackout Sessions in Atelier 210 and so many more record-related things, you will find Funky Bompa every sunday on Bruzz 98.8FM sharing his random finds and research, always defending the old vinyl format.
