2ND ANNUAL SALSA FUNDRAISER WITH RAFAEL ORTIZ Y EL TUMBAO URBANO

The 2ND Salsa Fundraiser with Rafael Ortiz y El Tumbao Urbano is an effort to support a great cause within the Montgomery County community. Rafael Ortiz as a local artist in the areas of District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, began the first fundraiser on June 2017, with the idea of supporting those who provide exceptional support to the community. This year’s fundraiser will be dedicated to The Tree House. The Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County is dedicated to reducing trauma and promoting healing of children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. You can learn more about The Tree House mission by visiting http://treehousemd.org. During the event, the salsa orchestra Rafael Ortiz y El Tumbao Urbano, will be playing the best salsa in the DMV. Victor Maysonet, a local dance instructor, will be contributing with a 45 minutes salsa lesson. One of the best salsa DJ in the DMV area DJ Dola, from Salsa Underground, will be playing your favorite songs. All donations made from the ticket sales regardless of attendance will be donated to The Tree House. You can also donate by mailing a check payable to The Tree House at 201 Yale Dr Alexandria, VA 22314 before June 1st. We are counting with your support! This event will take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building in Silver Spring in the Great Hall (700 people capacity) from 8:00pm to 1:00am. (Parking garage is across from the venue and is free).
