Panta rhei means everything flows and is the theme of the 2nd tangocontact retreat at Samothraki. Water is flowing from all over and in all directions at Samothraki. Everything flows in our body and in the world around us as well. So, in this retreat we will try to become aware of this flow of which we are a part, and embrace its infinite transformative power. Tangocontact is the result of an evolving exploration of partner dance in its various forms. The highly structured but rhythmically playful tango meets the chaotic but endlessly flowing contact improvisation in a combination that enhances what is at the core of both; continuous communication, tender intimacy and absolute improvisation.
