Pre-Independence-Day Swing Dance + Free Ice Cream!

This Wednesday July 1st, Swing Time hosts a Pre-Independence-Day Celebration at Bayou Dance Club. Build your own ice cream sundae with free ice cream and toppings for all who attend! Everyone's encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. The event kicks off with a group swing-dance lesson, 7-8pm, with Sam & Marcia (no partner needed), followed by music & dancing, 8-11pm. Doors open 6:45pm, all ages are welcome, and tickets are $10 (get them at the door). Our 2Room Swing format features two ballrooms, two dance floors, two DJs, and two simultaneous music mixes! See you there! BALLROOM #1 DJ spins a jumpin' and jivin', rockin' & rollin' mix of upbeat swinging music, both retro and modern, with occasional breaks for other dances. BALLROOM #2 DJ plays swingin' jazz and big band music for your Lindy Hop, Balboa, Foxtrot & Swing Dancing pleasure, with Shim Sham at 9pm. Bayou Dance Club features professional floating-wood dance floors, double the dance space, good air conditioning, and free parking.
