Fusion Connection: New to Fusion Boot Camp

Fusion Connection is proud to present our first New to Fusion Boot Camp! We have had so many brave beginners coming out to our monthly social dance and others saying they want to start. Join us for this workshop, learn how to dance and stay for the Fusion Connection First Timer's social dance to follow, 7-10pm at the same venue. Fusion has no predetermined steps or patterns unlike every other partner dance out there. It's where partner dance is stripped down to the most essential parts, and rebuilt in a new way every dance. This is where all partner dance styles meet. This workshop is for you if you've never done partner dancing before. It's also for those with a background in another partner dance form who want to experience the melting pot of Fusion dance. It's for experienced dancers who want to switch their usual lead/follow dance role up and learn the other side. Tzoul Shine and Alex Coffman will bring forth fundamentals of partner dancing such as: *Lead/follow roles *Dancing to the rhythm of the music *Different step patterns *Open and closed positions *Creating turns *How to frame your body *Finding the right muscle tone to communicate *The culture of a partner dance social * The mechanics of dance: extension and compression *Some fun moves *Extra half hour of dance practice at the end of the workshop before the social. *Join the Fusion Connection Beginner's Social to follow at 7pm.
