3-hour Tango Intensive

Sunday, Mar. 8 2:30 - 5:30�� Day 2 begins with a 30 - minute review of key principles from day 1 so all new, and previous, participants feel oriented and comfortable. No need to have attended the first class! $80 per person. New location is Wild & Barre in Redwood City 2504 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA 94061, Estados Unidos CA Tango Intensive with Yesica Esquivel & Ariel Leguizamon Day 2: Fluidity, Connection and Sequences We start with a 30 minute review of the previous week for those not able to attend, and then expand into musical continuity and phrasing. We will explore: • Flow – how to maintain connection during transitions — not just at arrival points. • Pauses - How to arrive together, sustain presence without collapsing, then exit musically and intentionally. • Fluidity with contrast and how to make a simple dance vocabulary expressive. Sequences will be taught and used as tools for you to apply and practice what you've learned. You will learn to experience tango as a continuous journey rather than isolated parts.
