Suitable for new to dance. Class 1: Introduction what is Urban Kiz? The background. Kizomba V Urban Kiz the key differences. Basic steps for Absolute beginners, walking, side to side, turning. Class 2: Basic steps continued with the introduction of more techncial steps i.e. men and ladies saidas incorporating balance, posture, connection and leading with practical exercises Class 3: Consolation of class 1 & 2, Urban Kiz variations and techniques & styling Class 4: Musicality, identification of different styles of music Ghetto Zouk, Tarraxa, Remixes, beat recogition and counts. Level 1 Beginners - No partner required. Suitable for dancers, knowledge of basic kizomba steps is preferable for this class. Class 1: Introduction what is Urban Kiz? The background. Kizomba V Urban Kiz the key differences. Asses your levels Class 2: Saidas with urban kiz variations incorporating balance, posture, connection and leading with practical exercises. Class 3: Consolation of class 1 & 2, Urban Kiz variations and techniques & styling Class 4: Musicality, identification of different styles of music Ghetto Zouk, Tarraxa, Remixes, beat recogition and counts. Tarraxa Into - Learn the basic movements of Tarraxa for leaders and followers. Understand how to interpret the music Lifts & Tricks - Learn from Benny & Jess a few fun lifts and tricks that you can execute on the dancefloor.
