4 Week Argentine Tango Series For Beginners and Intermediate Dancers w/ Julian Ramil www.tango-sabor.weebly.com 7:30-8pm Beginners Class "The Fundamentals of Tango" Absolute beginners & Drop-ins welcome, No partner required *Recommended for all levels for refinement *Class separates according to level 8pm-8:30pm Intermediate Class “Theme of The Month-February” Exploring Displacements (Sacadas) for Both Roles 8:30-9pm Practice, Warm-up or DINNER Milonga-Tango Social 9pm-12am Admission $20 (Classes Included) or $10 w/ Full-Time College ID *A note for your first time at El Valenciano Milonga (Tango Social Dance): A great way to begin is by taking the classes and dancing the tandas (dj set of 3 or 4 songs) of the first hour with classmates from the lesson. It's a comfortable and friendly way to start your social dance experience. Julian and Claudia have developed a teaching method that emphasizes sensitivity to the partner, rhythm & phrase of the music and the biomechanics of leading and following the fundamental motions-the foundation of every style. This allows their students to be versatile and open-minded to the variety of tango styles so that they too may develop their own style of dancing. The philosophy of their teaching is to guide the students to clearly see the fundamental motions within the complicated patterns of the Argentine Tango, making their progress and the dance itself easy and exciting!
