BEGINNERS ARGENTINE TANGO COURSE – WEXFORD Always wanted to try Argentine Tango but never knew where to start? This 4-week beginner course is designed for absolute beginners with no previous dance experience required. Over four Thursday evenings in August, you will learn the foundations of Argentine Tango in a friendly, welcoming and structured environment. Each class builds on the previous one, allowing you to develop confidence, musicality, connection and the essential skills needed to enjoy social tango dancing. Course Details: • 4 consecutive Thursdays in August • 1.5-hour class each week • Suitable for absolute beginners • No partner required • Limited places available This is a progressive course, so registration for the full course is required. Advance booking and payment are necessary to reserve your place. By the end of the course, you will be able to: Understand the basic structure of Argentine Tango Learn the essential tango terminology used in classes and social dancing Lead or follow simple tango movements Learn and practice fundamental tango figures and combinations Recognise and move to the tango rhythm Understand the basics of tango etiquette and floorcraft Enjoy dancing a complete tango from beginning to end Feel ready to continue your tango journey in regular classes and social events Whether you come on your own or with a partner, you'll be welcomed into a supportive community and introduced to one of the most beautiful and expressive dances in the world. After the 4 classes participants will be ready to join our regular Sunday Tango classes en Wexford (or Wednesday in Dublin or Saturdays in Bray) and continue their tango journey with confidence.
