Festivals, which were the first All Kizomba and Semba festivals in North America. Get ready for the 5th edition March 12-15, 2015. The venue will be the elegant Hotel Kabuki, in the heart of one of the world's most scenic cities, San Francisco. The got kizomba! festivals are truly a United Nations of Kizomba™ where you'll meet artists/dancers of all styles, cultures, and backgrounds from around the world. ***ARTISTS*** (lineup subject to change) Kwenda Lima (Cape Verde/Portugal) Pierre&Edith (French Guiana) Berto&Leho (France) Don Jose (France) Marc Brewer (US) Benga Da Beatz (US) Nika&Emile (US/Ukraine) More exciting news to come! As is expected with a Cartara Productions IMMERSION™ event, there will be numerous Kizomba & Semba workshops with each artist. We'll also throw in some Kuduro, Afro-House, Jack&Jill, Flash Mob, theme parties until 4am, and more for an unforgettable weekend! Multiple learning tracks will be available. The Foundation track will be for those new, or newer, to the dance, so ANYONE can join in. The Improver/Int track will be for those continuing students who are comfortable with their basics, saidas, musicality, and combinations. We are also planning advanced workshops, for those looking for a more aggressive challenge. These advanced workshops will require an audition & additional fee to participate. Kwenda will present a 2hr Kaizen Dance. This is a unique event that everyone should experience at least once. All Full passes include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday workshops and parties. Single Day passes include that night's party. Full Foundation and Improver/Int, Single Day, and Party passes are available now at gotkizombafestival.com. An Improver/Int full pass is a prerequisite for the Advanced add-on.
