Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance that is taking the world by storm! Its gaining popularity because of it's versatility, dynamic movements, focus on leading and following techniques, and because its beautiful to watch and FUN to dance! We are excited to be starting a new six week session at Zouk Mia Dance Academy on April 1st. No partner or experience required, just bring yourself, your two left feet, and a positive attitude :) Schedule: Monday + Wednesday at 8:00PM Extra Practice Thursday at 9:00PM Weekly Socials on Thursday night and Sunday Afternoon (optional, but highly recommended!) Brazilian Zouk has evolved rapidly since it was first adapted from its roots of Lambada. The dance is now combined with a variety of music, including Caribbean Zouk music, which is how the dance came to be known as Zouk. Brazilian Zouk is beautiful to watch, and extremely fun to dance! It is danced by people of all ages in night clubs, dance schools and events around the world.▌ Zouk Mia Dance Academy will be guiding you through the fundamentals of Brazilian Zouk in this six week Level 1 course. Our goal is to equip you with the best foundation possible, so you can decide how far you'd like to take your newfound dancing skills!
