If you don't want the possibility of your picture taken, there are special wristbands for you to wear. ~Shoes off on the dance floor ~Free parking ~Earplugs available ~Cacao will be available for purchase ~Filtered water provided Set times: 6:45PM: Doors open 7PM: DJ Fossils 8PM: BOOMKAT 9PM: Yemanjo 10:30PM: Event concludes Get to know the artists: YEMANJO: Yemanjo is the artistic moniker of Ben Harris, a California native whose deep connection to Latin American, African, and Middle Eastern music has shaped his unique sound 🌎 In a contemporary reality based on division and categorization, Yemanjo's music aims to break down the borders that divide us as cultures and individuals, and honor the diversity of human expression through sound 💃 Yemanjo’s sound is a unique fusion of downtempo and organic house beats with traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. 2024 saw the release of “La Misma Fuente”, an acclaimed album on Wonderwheel Recordings, and in 2025, Yemanjo will self-release another full length album entitled "Semillas De Poder" featuring collaborations with singer Irene Rosalia of Venezuela BOOMKAT: Karley BOOMKAT Willocks is a musician, singer, and dancer, who soared to Cincinnati in 2020 after a decade of NYC theater performance. Inspired by the wild yet embodied magic of New York’s dance scene, she set out to study the [witch]craft of DJing in 2022 with one vision at heart: fuel the movement community in Cincy by creating the dance parties of her dreams. BOOMKAT has since collaborated on the High Vibe Dance Party (a substance-free, early nightclub party), created EMBODIED Dance Experience (an ecstatic-dance-style event), and recently launched The DANCE Party (a full-out, booty shaking club night with a few guidelines to keep the dance floor safe and flowing). Instigating connection through dance is her core intention, so expect tunes that make you want to move and groove. Though BOOMKAT’s greatest love is house music, she weaves in funk, world grooves, dirty basslines, and latin or afro drums with catchy vocals, culminating in a musical journey spanning genres - one guiding bodies to lead, minds to rest, and spirits to fly.
