About this Event

We meet one more time in Koh Chang, Ranong Province (Near Phuket), Thailand. The same spot we chose for the last year edition. One of the not many places on Earth where you can find the conditions for a festival like this to happen. A small and wild and warm island in Thailand, with calm and warm waters of the ocean and fresh sweet water in an amazing blue lake in the middle of the island. The perfect scenario for our water and land activities. Cashew trees and tropical wild vegetation all around you, the Buddhist monastery just on our side and the quietness of an almost engines and technology free environment. The Program 7 full intensive workshops, plus Jams, Labs, One2One time, Performances and Freediving Classes. The intensives include options for those who are just arriving at the CI practices (either CI in Water or CI on Land), for those who want to practice more advanced skills, for those interested in the performative possibilities and for those who want to dive deeper into the somatic explorations. The daily evening Jams, introduced by the guest teachers who will gently invite us to into their own world through brief dance and movement explorations. The Labs, an open space/time for anyone to bring ideas and questions. One2One, to inquire in very close collaboration. Performances, there is a clearly focused intensive on performances, we also have the public and the best setting. Freediving Classes, a freediving instructor sharing the wisdom on how to deal with breathing, breath holding and diving without gear. The Teachers The teacher's team is a true reason for happiness, for its variety, for its trajectory, for its approaches, interests and for a lot more. We´ll have CI teachers coming from all around… Catalina Chouhy, from Montevideo (Uruguay), Maria Grudskaya from Moscow (Russia), Hugo Leonardo, from Bahía (Brasil), Anastasia Sayevich from San Petersburg (Russia), Yana Soutina from San Petersburg (Russia), David Lym from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Kiril Popov from San Petersburg (Russia), Mario Blanco from Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Alexandra Bezrodnova from Moscow (Russia). Soon you´ll find more available information here and on the festival site. Accomodation & food The festival registration does not include accommodation and food. Accommodation on the island around the festival area ranges from 8 to 17 U$S, for some nice and cosy bungalows. You can usually find someone to share once you´re there.
