7-Day Travel Retreat: The Secrets of Turkey

The Wonder Lights holiday lab crafted a unique experience to discover the secrets of one the most underrated country in Eurasia: Turkey. Many of you know Turkey for Istanbul, the bubbling metropolis between two continents, but Turkey has a lot to offer, and for this reason we will start our adventurous retreat in Izmir! We will spend 4 nights immersed in authentic Turkish culture, staying in a hidden mountain sanctuary — a sacred, peaceful place surrounded by nature. Each day will have its own rhythm, weaving together different forms of movement — which may include yoga, Kooksundo, or other embodied practices — along with breathwork, ecstatic dance, and guided water ceremonies. It’s deep inner work rooted in the land and its ancient traditions, while still leaving space for joy, play, and shared celebration. With our private mini van, we’ll move between tropical beaches, powerful mountain landscapes, and little secret spots — experiencing both the softness and the wild beauty of this place. For those who enjoy genuine experiences and the charm of local accommodations, this journey offers a rare taste of authentic Turkey. Our journey will follow flying to Istanbul, for a pure entertainment 3 days. We will visit hidden gems, sailing between two continents and taste a lot of local delicacies.
