7th Annual Cinco de Mayo Salsa Celebration

History: Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Lets Make History as we honor Mexico Proud Hispanic Culture with Latin music and dance! This Saturday Howard's Charro Café will be celebrating La Raza Entera & dedicating its private events space & its spacious engineered wood dance floor to all things Cinco de Mayo with Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Kizomba, Zouk, Merengue, Punta, Cha-cha-cha, Pachanga, Guaguanco, and more.... To host & DJ the night, Howard's has chosen a long-time salsa event enthusiast & someone salsa dancers consider to be one of the most charismatic & talented salsa dancer in Omaha - a Mr. Blandon "Salserodalante" Joiner. Saturday will kick off with a fundamentally strong dance lesson for all levels of social dancers@8 pm, again you don't need a partner. Enjoy fun social dancing shortly after the dance lesson until 2 am!
