8 Week Beginner Tango Course

Southern Cross Tango proudly presents a new 8 Week Beginner Argentine Tango Course from Tuesday 22 January - 12 March at Roxy Centre, 1-80 Anzac Hwy, Everard Park. Beginner Class is from 7pm - 8pm 8 Week Course cost: $120pp (payable on first week of course) Casual Class $20pp or $15pp concession. Please wear leather soled shoes and neat casual attire. All welcome. After the beginner class, students are invited to stay on for the Weekly Tango Practica from 8pm - 9.30pm ($5pp for beginner tango students, $10 for general entry) to continue practicing and refining the new dance skills learned in class. The practica is a great way for dancers to gain confidence, try out their new moves, and practice their social dancing skills in a relaxed environment with a diverse selection of music. Dancers from all levels of tango experience are welcome to attend the Practica, and this can be a great way to meet and dance with other members of the tango community before heading out to the Milongas.
