TED 8 Weeks Brazilian Zouk Flow Course Solo and Couples Start 31 August 7.45 PM - 10.15PM Level: Open 8 weeks course: 7.45 -8.45 PM - Brazilian Zouk Solo Technique 8.45 - 9.45 PM - Brazilian Zouk Couples 9.45 - 10.15 PM - Zouk practice with teachers Requirements: min 1 year of zouk dancing Location: Held House Yoga Studio - 42 Hoxton Square, London N1 6PB After organizing my first TED Zouk Retreat and spending 1 week with Kuna Malik I have decided that what we explored and learned there, could be very beneficial for the London Zouk Scene. We are going to focus on connection, flow and magic. We want you to feel what we felt just a couple of weeks ago. That level of connection was insane. We are going to explore close embrace and the art of hugging :) We want you to think about the dance as a relaxing experience for your mind and body. We will not only touch the physical but also mental dimension of the partner dancing. Because during our last module all the leaders also joined follower’s classes we encourage you to do the same. During first class we will prepare a strong base for what is coming after in the couple classes. This way you can benefit better. All the classes will take place in an absolutely stunning yoga studio that will help us to bring our best mental state. Spots are limited as we believe small groups are more beneficial for what we are planning to explore. Who I am: I’m a professional dancer, dance instructor, choreographer, actress and yoga lover. I have taught dance in over 30 countries, and have been teaching, performing, and dancing my heart out at international zouk festivals for over 11 years. I pioneered zouk in Poland in 2011 and I am a qualified judge of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council. I have taught zouk internationally together with Pasty, Kamacho, and William dos Santos, and collaborated with William Teixiera and Arthur Santos. I’m a founder of The Empowered Dancers online platform where I create healthy habits for Brazilian Zouk Dancers. I’m an organizer of TED Zouk Retreats where we explore deeper understanding of body & mind in dance. Who’s my assistant: Daniel (you all know him) is going to assist me during most of the classes. He is an amazing dancer, MAC Teacher Course graduate and favorite dancer of all London followers :) We will be exploring beautiful things and what I need from you is an open mind, trust and patience. Preparation for counter balance. 8. 9 November - Self Expression in dance. Working on musicality.
