About the memorizing Sonia: Sonia Rivera was born in Puerto Rico, and has had her Puerto Rican roots together with her to Tampa in her studio Diamond Dancers Internationals. With a career of almost 18 years in the world of dance, and 16 years as a teacher having a number of experiences that have given her the knowledge she now shares with her students through her non-traditional classes. Sonia and her company are well known in many cities that she has had the pleasure of visiting, but here in Tampa, the city where she has located her studio nine years ago. Sonia has extensive experience participating in conferences in which she has given workshops in the following disciplines. Salsa in 1, 2 (Puerto Rican style and NY), Girl style, is also well known for teaching lap patterns (dominating both sides of the male and female couple). Free steps, Afro Cuban, Cha Cha Cha, spinning techniques and his new three new workshops; Advanced Musicality, Jury Perspective and Costume Making Workshops. Among her last set of training she visited the Capital of Cali Salsa to take seminars and classes with leading teachers to better understand the Caleño style. Among the many facets that dominates, Sonia has several certifications to her credit that everyone should know, she holds the Salsa instructor certification for the course taught by Mr. Stacey López and is also a Judge certified by Mr. Billy Fajardo with whom He has been a jury member of the World Salsa Summit competition for three years. As a result of this has been invited internationally to various countries to exercise this work recently in Guatemala in the National Competitions and in Mexico state of Guadalajara in the famous curriculum of Cuerpos Creativos or Creative Bodies. During the last years she has also stood out as a Coach of competitors of different competences, both group and individual. In her extensive career he has worked with a number of companies in different countries and cities of the United States, taking care of over 300 choreographies. During the last 6 years she has also had the responsibility of being Stage Manager of important events such as Adventure Dance Cruise, Orlando Salsa Congress. Atlanta Salsa Congress and recently with New Orleans Salsa Festival (GWEPAAA!!) In her many trips she has had the opportunity to visit several cities in which she has not only shared her knowledge but also shared platforms and trained with the best to improve her skills as a dancer. She has visited cities such as Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bahamas, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Chicago, Washington, South Carolina, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Texas, Los Angeles among others.
