ALOHA BIG ISLAND DANCE TRIBE AND MEDICINE OHANA... We open the doors of our temple, home and sacred space once more, to our closest friends and tribe in the community, for sacred dance & fire ceremony, HeART sharing, creative free expression, Deep transformation, Magic and Miracles and...well... a little too much FUN!! For the 9th time at Pele's Breath Hawai'i we invite you to intimately celebrate with us our weekly community Bliss Dance Jam! A divinely orchestrated 5-hour journey of overwhelming Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch and Audio-Visual over-stimulation! Set to the soundtrack of an entrancing symphony of Deeply Blissful Heart Energy centered rhythms, vocals & beats, creatively spun every week by a variety of in-house and special guest musicians & DJs. This week for the opening ceremony we are always blessed to have Hoku O Kalanimehonua and the Pele's Breath Ohana honoring us, by lighting the sacred fire and setting our strong intentions for the ceremony. We will even have live very gifted psychedelic artist Amrita McKenzie painting next to the main stage with us (Check out her work at https://www.facebook.com/Amritamaiart). Sky Alan will be joining us this week for our 9th Bliss Dance Jam (www.skyalan.bandcamp.com). Sky Alan is a inspiring singer songwriter, opening hearts and minds with conscious lyrics and fresh reggae vibes. Living on the Big Island of Hawaii, past activism and backpacking adventures are the sources of inspiration. Creating music and planting seeds, one verse at a time. Sky has played at festivals such as Sonic Bloom and Tribal Visions, as well as shows on the Island. ShamanHeart's musical journeys are a Deep transformational cosmic conscious cocktail. A diverse and vibrant celebration of raw native traditional-modern dance culture & tribal wisdom in its purest form. HeART Energy Medicine Music's ultimate intention is to truly Unify & purify the Mind, Body, Heart and Spirit as one unified energy field. ShamanHeart channels and weaves his sets together Live in the moment on stage, drawing upon & blending together the raw elemental roots of Drum n Bass, Deep House and Shamanic Tribal Rhythms; to connect, stimulate, tantalize and evoke the playful child within us All. He reignites a healthy balance and primordial connection with Nature & the Earth, Great Spirit, and our Most Authentic harmonious selves. Get ready to Love thy Self infinitely and Become Re-birthed! Bring a towel and plenty of extra water too and enjoy our precious & sacred Natural Volcanic Steam Vent Saunas in the tropical gardens, if feeling lusciously magnetized or tantalized enough to do so! ...suggested $25 contribution to dance and get a hot steamy soak! ...OR $15 just to dance. Whacky and Weird Costumes and Fancy Dress is very welcome. Fire Dancers, Massage therapists, Go-Go dancers and Circus Performers can register with us in advance for Love Energy Exchange opportunities! The event is also a potluck feast & banquet fit for the kings & queens that we all are! So we invite everyone to bring a dish or two to share with us all during the gathering. Please make sure you label your food & drink offerings clearly, so everyone knows what your items are.
