Considered as one of the region's most celebrated tango festivals, the Tango Bali Festival 2014 will be held on May 28 - June 1 .
Now on it's 9th year, the festival has constantly attracted both local and international audiences specially with its most fun part, the famous Tango Carneval & Masquerade Ball showcasing the fantasy of tango afiliados.
On Wednesday 28 May, we will start our fantastic Tango fest, that will feature Noelia Coletti & Pablo Giorgini, Alejandra Hobert & Adrian Veredice, Gonzalo Robinson and this year's Munidal champions, Jesica Arfenoni & Maximilliano Cristiani, with a Pre-Opening Milonga at the hippiest place in town , the Straw Hut.
The official Welcome Milonga on Thursday, May 29 will be held with long year tradition at CASA ARTISTA – Tango Guesthouse in Seminyak, Jl Sari Dewi – Gang Kresna
Be blessed with a tasty buffet style dinner, prepared by Casa’s well-known chefs, a culinary delight for all tastes. Get a first kick out on special perfomances, which will highlight the evening. Dance the night away until you drop.
Friday Night 30 May, the Carneval starts bombastic at Sector - Bar & Restaurant ….get prepared with your most artistic costume to reflect your fantasy. A RP1000.000 prize money will go to the best costume. Be favoured with a fantastic buffet dinner and special performances…Whoop it up with tango, twist and shout,it’s party time !
La Noche de los Maestros, the red carpet Gala Night and Milonga in glamour and style, will be presented on Saturday May 31, at Balai Bumiku, Jl. Gunung Soputan 49 Denpasar – Bali. Indulge yourself with this special evening. Celebrate a tasty buffet dinner before you will adore our star artists on stage with a brilliant show .
The Farewell Milonga on Sunday June 1st at the Straw Hut, finally time to say goodbye to old and new friends. Be possessed of Straw Huts culinary fantasies and a last thrill performance . We will screw up all wheels to get you have a whale of time .

Exercises with simple figures.
Apilado means piled up in Spanish, in which the dancers have an especially strong lean against each other. It is a style beautifully crafted by the grand maester Carlos Gavito.

JESICA ARFENONI & MAXIMILIANO CRISTIANI ,
THE CHAMPIONS OF TANGO SALON BUENOS AIRES 2012
Maximiliano began his career in 1999, and shortly thereafter he joined the first incarnation of the famous “AZ Ballet,” where he studied with some of the greatest masters of Tango Salon and Stage Tango, including Gerardo Portalea, Pupy Castello, Eduardo Parejita, Carlos Perez y Rosa, to name a few. He has his own tango school in Buenos Aires , where 8 years he taught hundreds of beginner students. He has also held a number of workshops and performances abroad in countries such as Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Bulgari, Serbia, Greece,England,Scotland,Ireland,Turkey, and Brazil, among others.
Maximiliano was the CHAMPION TANGO SALON BUENOS AIRES 2012, CHAMPION MILONGA 2012, VICE-CHAMPION OF “WORLD TANGO SALON CHAMPIONSHIP 2012”, VICE CHAMPION WORLD TANGO CHAMPIONSHIP TANGO STAGE 2008, VICE-CHAMPION OF THE METROPOLITAN TANGO CHAMPIONSHIP 2005. For more than 8 years, Maximiliano has been among the best Tango dancers who compete within the World Championship circuit. He is the creator of the show “Sangre de Tango,” in addition to serving as a choreographer, dancer, instructor, and actor in the film “Phantom of Buenos Aires.”.
He travels every year to United States and Europe for giving seminars, spreading the values of the tango lounge that he has learned of his talented teachers. Maximiliano is an important reference in Tango Salon, Tango Improvised and Tango Stage, for the last ten years.
Jesica Arfenoni dances from 8 years of age. She has been formed so much in tango as in folkore Argentinian with teachers as Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, Sebastian Maple and Marian Mounts, between others... She also considered a ballerina of tango traditional elegant lounge...!!!.
She realizes tours along Europa and Brasil, giving seminars and exhibitions. She has formed a part of " TRAVEL TO THE FEELING". She was achieved 5th place in The World Tango Salon Championship of the year 2009.
Together with Maximiliano Cristiani, they achieve a harmony in their trek, embrace, musicality, adornments and in their way of giving his seminars.
ALEJANDRA HOBERT & ADRIAN VEREDICE
Dancers, choreographers and masters of tango argentino, Adrian and Alejandra have been a couple since 1998. Their impressive scenic interpretation and expressive capacity are received with enthusiasm in theaters and stages worldwide. They were protagonists of the most important and acclaimed international tango festivals of the last years (in cities such as Berlin, Rome, London, Paris,Lisbon, Athens, Istanbul, Dubai, Montreal and others). Since 2002 they have also been principal teachers of the c.i.t.a. and the world dance championships organized by the world dance council. They teach regularly in the United States at the Fred Astaire Studios. Between 2003 to 2010 they were choreographers and the principle couple of the „Otango“ & „Cincotango“ which were highly successful in Europe and America. Adrian and Alejandra have also shared stage events and shows with famous orchestras such as Sexteto Mayor, Color Tango, El Arranque, Los Reyes del Tango and Sexteto Canyengue. In 2012 and 2013 were called as teachers and members of the jury´s world tango championship in Buenos Aires in the categories of tango stage and tango salon.
NOELIA COLETTI & PABLI GIORGINI
Pablo Giorgini & Noelia Coletti begin their career in 1997, at the age of 16 and 17. They focus their work on stage tango and salon tango. They join the cast of the musical TANGUERA in 2003, performing in the most prestigious theatres of Buenos Aires and all over the world. In 2005 they travel to Japan to present the tango show of the Argentinean Pavilion at the Aichi World Expo, performing for important figures as the Emperor of Japan and the princess Máxima of Holland, among others. At the same time they conduct a special tango workshop for the company Alegría of Cirque du Soleil.
From then on they have been traveling as dancers and profesors all over the world, joining festivals and workshops in Tokio, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Granada, Tavira, etc. They were choregraphers and trainers of the champions of stage tango in the Asian Tango Championship in Japan in 2006, and were coach of the champions and subchampions of the Metropolitan Championship in Buenos Aires in 2010.
GONZALO ROBINSON
Born in the province of San Juan (Argentina), he begins his career in the Argentine folklore as a child. At the age of 15 years he travels to Buenos Aires (1977) to start exploring the world of Tango.
He developes with the most important teachers as Juan Carlos Copes in choreography, Mingo Pugliese and especially with Carlos Gavito, taking part in many of his courses as assistant. Furthermore, he was part of the group of pupils of the National School of the Argentine Tango. His knowledge of the dance has completed with the formation in movements, expression and interpretation for the dance. After a wide experience of more than 20 years through the "milongas porteñas", he reaches his own style which can be observed both in his choreographies, in his dance and in his teachings.
A revered milonguero, respected teacher and highly regarded by his peers in the mecca of Tango, the name is no push over having worked inside and outside of Buenos Aires in the last two decades.
He is a man of many facets teaching many dance disciplines such as Tango, Folklore, Rock and Latin dance.
Together with Tango Bali Club founder and Festival Producer, Stefani K. who is a proven teacher with 11 solid years of Tango, having taught in different parts of the region aside from her regular teaching stint and activities in Bali, they are building a strong partnership.
