POINT OF CONNECTIONS (A Somatic movement and Contact Improvisation workshop) The workshop aims to explore Communication to understand points of connection, in relation with oneself and others. Moving solo, with partner and group, we aim to provide mindful and physical techniques to engage in interactions. 🪢 We will learn and explore: - A series of weight-sharing and lift-based exercises - Games to develop listening through Touch - Developing a Somatic lens to connect with our bodies - Jam space for integration of learnings The discipline of Somatic Movement and Contact Improvisation is a proposition to act and interact in an enquiry based manner, while engaging with space, sensations and the physicality of body.
