A Mi Manera - AfroCuban Weekend

⭐️ A Mi Manera - AfroCuban Weekend is a true immersion and an opportunity for profound studying of AfroCuban dances under the expert guidance of Maestro Jose Carlos Leguen 🇨🇺 ⭐️ Workshops will include technique training and repetitions in a group with feedback / some personal correction as a part of the excercises, as well as a choreography/sequence pertinent to the orisha or rumba discipline. Workshops are 3 hour immersions that are split in to progressive sections. The last hour of the Workshops is dedicated to implementing the learned techniques/expressions within our Timba dancing and will include an explosive Timba choreography that Jose Carlos will create for us. ⭐️ 3 hour Workshops are split into sections progressively. Jose Carlos teaches in Spanish language, with brief translations when necessary. The goal of Jose Carlos and students is to connect more deeply to the Orisha in terms of expression as well as technique. ⭐️ Workshops are open level, but not suitable for persons without any prior experience from Rumba or Afrocuban Orishas.
