Orlando Faciano arrives in the UK to share with the milongueros of Corrientes Social Club his musical taste for the Guardia Vieja as well as the distinctive sounds of the Guardia Nueva orchestras, always maintaining a traditional style. His experience as a Tango and folklore dancer enriches his dedicated work as a Tango DJ. Originally from the north of Argentina, Jujuy Province, he settled in Buenos Aires and was for many years the organizer of "La Otra Milonga". He was 28 years old in 2018 when he decided to move to Buenos Aires to further his tango learning and when in the midst of the pandemic that paralysed the whole tango scene in the big city, the “Jujeño” bet his chips on organising an open-air milonga in Plaza Congreso, which he called "La Otra Milonga", with a strong presence of the folk culture of northern Argentina. This Saturday we will have the opportunity to enjoy his knowledgeable musical selection, a corner of Argentina 'travels' to bring to our dance floor a night that promises to be unforgettable. We remind you that there is no class and the social dancing starts at 9pm.
