A-Train @ The Hammersmith Club - weekly classes & dancing

A-Train is Swingland's weekly Monday night swing dance and music club at The Hammersmith Club in West London, with Lindy hop classes for absolute beginners through to intermediate/advanced dancers, plus social dancing in between and after the classes. Doors open from 6.30pm 6.45pm Beginners Lindy hop class - covering all the basics of Lindy hop these classes are fun, social, and informative. Suitable for absolute beginners - join any week. No partner needed. 7.45pm Beginners practice/social 8.15pm Intermediates Lindy hop class - moving on from beginners these classes are designed to take your dancing to the next level. Knowledge of Lindy hop basics covered in beginners will be presumed. 9pm Social dancing - swing out to the very best recorded music from the 1930s, 40s & 50s. Newer recordings are also played - provided that they really do swing!
