Although I never stopped hosting jams during the pandemic, first online and then outdoors "Curbside Contact", There's nothing quite like dancing on the Bamboo floor at Montague Retreat Center! _______________ STEPHEN KATZ is a cellist and award-winning composer. He has premiered his cello compositions at Carnegie Recital Hall and toured internationally with the Paul Winter Consort and the Essex String Quartet. He has also worked extensively with dance and theater artists, including members of Pilobolus, Wire Monkey Dance, Beverly Blossom, and has been a Visiting Artist at Amherst College. One of his film scores won the Jury Prize Gold Medal at the Park City Film Music Festival. Stephen is a frequent guest musician for improvisational movement jams in Western Mass, Boston, and beyond. A native of San Francisco, Stephen holds a Master of Music degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
