Learn to strut and dance with style, sass, and confidence in this Absolute Beginner Heels Workshop with Rubí Gatica! This class will be an introduction to heels. Everyone is welcome to attend, Rubí will give tips and tricks to help improve your technique and confidence in your heels. Are heels required? No, but they are encouraged! Meet Rubí! Hello, I’m Rubí Gatica! I’m a professional dancer with 11 years of experience. My passion for heels is beyond that dance style, is about confidence, self-love and empowerment. I want to share with you my experience and the magic in heels. Rubí has traveled around the world representing her home country of Peru. She has experience in corporate events, television, film, and theater. She dances in all kinds of styles such as contemporary, jazz, salsa, bachata, sexy heels, hip hop, house, popping, and breaking. She describes herself as an artist in constant evolution. She has trained at D1 (Peruvian dance school), Broadway Dance Center (NYC), and Millennium Dance Complex (LA). ~~~~~ You can park in the parking lot across from the building on Yandes Street or on the street. The entrance to the building is on Yandes. The building sits right on the corner of Yandes Street and 22nd Street.
