Absolute Beginner Salsa Class @ 11AM

On Saturday, March 28th, we’re excited to welcome you to our Absolute Beginner Salsa class, taking place inside Heavy Hitters Athletic Facility, one of our newest community partners. These classes are designed specifically for people who are brand new to Salsa — no previous experience, no partner required. SCHEDULE: 11:00am - Doors open 11:15-12:30pm - Salsa Class -Entry is not allowed once class begins. Arrive during "doors open" time. *Class content is different every time. This will be different moves/steps than our Feb 28th class. If you’ve ever watched Salsa/Bachata dancing and thought “That looks fun, but I have no idea where to start”, this Class is for you. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: -How to listen to salsa music and recognize its rhythm -Learning foundational salsa basic steps, starting solo -How those steps translate with a partner, in an approachable way -Building confidence so you can move without overthinking -Our teaching style is welcoming, structured, and beginner-friendly — designed to help you feel successful from your very first steps. PRICING & REGISTRATION $30 per person - ONE CLASS $50 for two people (Save $10) WHAT TO WEAR & BRING: Please wear comfortable clothes you can sweat in and bring a water bottle. Athletic shoes or clean sneakers are perfect — no special dance shoes needed. NO PARTNER? NO EXPERIENCE? YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. You do not need a partner to attend. We rotate respectfully and teach in a way that works whether you come solo, with a friend, or with a significant other. These classes are intentionally built for absolute beginners, so you’ll never feel behind or out of place. PARKING: Two free parking lots available: North of the building on the same block (Mural) and East of the front doors across the street. Heavy Hitters Athletic Facility is one of our core community partners and a space we’re excited to call one of our new homes. In addition to teaching here, you’ll also see Daync popping up at other venues throughout the neighborhood. Moving forward, these Absolute Beginner Salsa classes will be offered monthly, creating consistent opportunities for new dancers to start (or restart) their dance journey in a supportive environment. ✨ Advanced registration is required to reserve your spot.
