GENRE (Professional & Open Division): STYLE ◾️ At least 30% of the routine must be Kizomba. ◾️ 20% of the routine must be African style (Semba, Afro-house & etc) ◾️ 50% Improvisation (UrbanKiz/Fusion) MUSIC ◾️ All songs must be recognizable as the chosen style and must have the distinctive rhythm of that style* ◾️ Music length: All Couples between 2.30 and 3.30 mins All competitors are judged as a couple. Lifts, tricks or flares are allowed. Couples will be judged in the following categories: Musicality, Connection, Technique, Originality JUDGES ◾️ tbc AWARD: ◾️ Lifetime ALiA full pass – Winner of Professional Division ◾️ AfroStyle Dance Championship Trophy – Winner of Open and Professional Division. ◾️ AfroStyle Dance Trophy – 1st runner up and 2nd runner up of Open and Professional Division.
