Advanced Bachata Workshop with Paula & Kim

Just back from World Salsa Solo and ready to inspire you with much enthusiasm and explosiveness!!!! Pro-am Bachata Freestyle winners from World Salsa Solo 2019, Paula and Kim will be teaching you methods to explore dancing "to the music". Do you want to be more sensitive to the music? Dance to the rhythm, melody and hear the energy levels when dancing? This is all Musicality, and we will begin teaching you some easy concepts in Series 1. In the first hour we will explore different songs and explain which moves are suitable at different phases of the song. We will explain about the Bachata rhythms, the instruments used and the basic structure of a Bachata song. *We are not musicians or claim to be, however we will guide you from our dance experience to be more sensitive to the music. The second hour we will be teaching a routine to a specific song and showing you the different aspects of moves at the different rhythms. * BOOKINGS REQUIRED * Limited numbers * We prefer to hold a smaller class to ensure more individual attention *Please bring a dance partner (preferable). We will keep record of numbers to ensure even numbers/ratio.
