Oktober About Pedro: Pedro Ricardo Henry is a professional dancer and member of the project in process “Eurotopia” at the theatre Freiburg in Germany for the Festival of contemporary dance 2017. 2016 he danced at the musical “Carmen” at the theatre Chatelet from Paris. Pedro danced two seasons from 2014 to 2016 at Aachen Theatre with the “West Side Story” musical. The dancer was a soloist at “Ballet de TV Cubana” 2013. From 2009 to 2011 was member of the company “Danza Nacional Comtemporánea de Cuba” where he obtain his first professional experiences. He has extensive experience in modern dance and contemporary dance. His first dance training he got at a dance boarding school for gifted children. Since his third year he dances on the stage. For more than 15 years he worked as a dancer, since 2006 - as a teacher and a choreographer at several companies. He was a teacher in “Baila en Cuba” ISA international dance Festival 2011-2012 in Havana and a choreographer in International Dance Festival in Cochabanba Bolivien 2010. Qualifications: ●2014 Dance Soloist of Aachen Theatre Germany ●2012 Dance Soloist of the company “Ballet de la TV Cubana” ●2011 Teacher at the International dance Festival “Baila en Cuba” (Instituto Superior de Arte - ISA) ●2010 Choreographer at the International comtemporary dance Festival in Cochabanba Bolivien. ●2010 Master’s degree in modern and popular dance, professional dancer of art and a teacher, Escuela Nacionál de Arte (ENA), Havana, Cuba ●2009 Award: “Distinguished artist” at the UNEAC Festival (Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba) Havana Cuba. ●2008 Award: as “best dancer ” at the contest for dance students in the category of modern in Havana, Cuba ●2006 Award: as “best dancer” at the Festival “International Popular Cuban dance of Couple Dance”, Havana, Cuba
