Join us for an Afro-Cuban music workshop with musician & educator Brian Rice! 🪘🇨🇺 🔹Brian Rice studied Afro-Cuban folkloric music and drumming with Regino Jimenez, Jesus Alfonso, Roberto Borrell, Sandy Perez and many others in Cuba, the US, and Canada 🔹Brian teaches the Afro-Cuban Ensemble which he founded in 2017 at UC Davis 🔹Brian has played with salsa bands and Latin jazz bands since the early 1990s and founded the Afro-Cuban Folkloric Collective in Seattle in 1995.
