Afro & Kizomba Night - Pangaea KU Leuven

Free Kizomba Initiation at Pangaea In a 2 hours initiation Sonja KikiZomba & Rabbil Ngwije and team will teach you the basics of Kizomba, a beautiful African couple dance, originating in Angola. We'll start at 19.00 and finish around 21.00 with the class and after it's time to practise, dance and enjoy. You can come with a partner or find one on the spot. Partners will be rotated regularly, so that nobody stays alone. Place yourself on going so we know how many people we can expect. During the practise session we will put a variety of African Rhythms that belong to the Kizomba Universe and beyond (Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, Ghettzouk, Urban Kiz, Zouk, Kompa, Afrobeat etc.). The entrance is free for everybody. Our aim is to bring together the new (and old) International Students from Leuven, the Flemish students, the African community, and the dance community to spend a nice evening together with tropical sounds and good atmosphere. There are regular Kizomba classes in Leuven every Sunday afternoon in Café Manger on the Oude Markt betwen 15:00 and 17:00, followed by a Salsa & Kizomba Social with DJ Roberto Vegas.
