Afro-Latino Bachata & Kizomba - Guest Teacher Sergio Fernandez

After a fun May event the team are back with a twist, we will be running 4 classes for this event. In the main room we will have two Bachata Classes with our guest teacher and DJ Sergio Fernandez and in the second room there will be two Kizomba classes. Classes will be two lots of 45 minutes followed by three hours of dancing to a equal mix of Bachata and Kizomba. Doors open 7:15pm Classes: 7:30 - 8:15pm 8:15 - 9:00pm About our guest teacher: Sergio Fernandez Sergio is from Zaragoza, Spain, which is the Country origin of the new wave of Bachata called "Sensual Bachata", he has been dancing latin rhythms over 10 years. He started teaching Bachata in Oxford over three years ago and create a new Bachata Community in Oxford. He teaches for Oxford University Dancesport Club (OUDC) and offers regular Bachata classes in Oxford. Sergio is now a regular guest teacher at many events around the UK such as Bachata Spice London or LTP Party in Nottingham, his classes focus on social dancing aspects of leading and following of bachata and salsa. Fascinated by the magic of non-scripted dances, he presents un-choreographed demonstrations that orientate on the origins of dances which are lead-based, but would not be the same without a follower. Sergio is also a latin social dance DJ and he has his own regular events in Oxford.
