Agapé Dance Company Auditions

Agapé Dance Company is excited to announce that we will be holding auditions for our Amateur Competition Team/Performance team, Amour de Agapé, and a non-competition training team. Our Competition/Performance team will learn both a salsa and bachata routine which will be performed at multiple events throughout the state and country. Our training team will focus on training to become better dancers socially and learn the proper technique to execute shines/patterns correctly. Both teams will focus on general dance technique, lead and follow technique, spinning technique, connection, stage presence and all performance aspects. We all know how important I think technique is! Lol Previous dance experience is required for those interested in auditioning for the competition team! We ask that only those who consider themselves at an intermediate to advanced level choose to audition for the competition team. Please come in comfortable (athletic) clothes and dance shoes (dance heels for ladies). Bring plenty of water as you are definitely in for a work out. Please be on time and come ready to work. If you have to show up late to auditions for any reason please make sure to let us know before hand as we will not be letting people who come late without prior notice go through the audition process. Thank you in advance! :) We will start the registration process at 11:30am. Please be there early to fill out paperwork. Dancing will begin at Noon. There is no audition fee.
