Franky developed a passion for musical alchemy early in life and has been a DJ and music producer for over 20 years. He has traveled the world playing festivals and shared the stage with artists such as Tipper, Bluetech, OTT and more. With a movement and art background his selections will inspire dance and creative flow. Rose is a DJ, sound healer, singer, and musician whose passion for music began at the age of 2 when she would freestyle rhythmic poetry to her parents. She derives much of her musical inspiration from the elements of the natural world and the deep realms of the unseen. She believes music, sound, and especially our voices are some of the most potent healing tools we have. Expect to be taken on a rhythmic, sonic journey through melodic deep bass, medicine, tribal, afro rhythms, booty-shaking beats, and hip-hop. She has a unique ability to create safety for her students while spicing things up with humor and spontaneity. Her current commitment is to building a firm foundation for those wanting and willing to learn the true art and technique of contact Improvisation. She had the great good fortune to study with: Nancy Stark Smith, Kathleen Hermesdorf, Scott Wells, Andrew Harwood, Chris Aiken, Martin Keogh, Kirstie Simpson, Lisa Nelson, and Ray Chung. www.ShannonSahaja.com Yoga: Rachel Heron My journey as a yogini began in 1992, with David Life and Sharon Gannon, the creators of the Jivamukti style of Hatha yoga. I received my 200 hr yoga teacher certification from the Sivananda Ashram in 1994, and began teaching right away. Over the past 28 years I’ve studied the styles of Kripalu, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Forrest, and Anusara. I have been blessed with many esteemed teachers in these varying traditions. My classes are vigorous, deep, and anchored in therapeutic alignment principles. I believe that when we can stay present in a pose–truly present to the fluctuations of energy, sensation, breath, emotion, thinking-we can extend that experience to the practice of LIVING. Yoga invites me to engage compassion and empathy, to sense what’s here and now, and to live wakefully. It’s my honor and service to share the practice and these benefits with my students.
