Description: The workshop will be instructed by Juana Cambas from Argentina and it aims to bring the family closer together by learning a new dance through play, it is a joyful and collective dance to meet each other. Juana Cambas, Professional dancer from Argentina, studied Argentinian Folklore, Tango, Bachata, Contemporary Modern Dance, and Ballet. Member of the Argentine National folkloric Ballet and Malambo Argentino Ballet, internationally representing Argentina in Tango, Argentine Folklore and Contemporary dance, performed in Italy, Bulgaria, Romaina, Serbia, Colombia, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and Holand. Trained in prestigious Academies and Schools with renowned teachers. Teaching in all the tango clubs around Hobart and performing at different festivals in Australia. The nice, lively and colorful Carnavalito is an ancient collective dance that was danced in America since before the discovery; possessing an extraordinary vitality, it has lasted through many centuries and this still practiced spontaneously today in the north-western region of Argentina and Bolivia. Carnavalito it is a grupal dance that is practicing every summer to celebrate the Carnaval. It is a simple dance and so fun!! Please donot forget to bring your good vibes and comfortable clothes.
