Constantly looking to break new ground and markets, Albert was the first promoter to risk controversy and finances by bringing music artists from Cuba such as Salsa sensation group Los Van Van to the United States for their very first show. Albert's passion and promotional skills have played a key role in the U.S. Latin Entertainment explosion. Since 1998, Albert Torres Productions (ATP) has created and produced the World's largest Salsa Music event, The Los Angeles Salsa Congress in Southern California. ATP transforms the event's location into an exciting music and dance venue that attracts thousands of Latin Music enthusiasts from all over the US and the world. In addition to this, ATP also endorses and co-produces Salsa Congresses in over 40 countries. Share an hour and a half with Albert at Istanbul Silence Hotel as he leads a Symposium - the roots of our salsa music today. Alberts Symposium focuses on the historical journey of salsa music, taking us to the major music arenas of the world and introducing us to the personalities of the musicans that have impacted the dance we dance today - Salsa. The Symposium is interactive with examples of original music by the original musicians and Albert shares his own experiences and involvements of the evolvement of salsa music.
