The class will be Blindfolded Micro - but blindfolding part is OPTIONAL❗️Curl up in the tea lounge, or come for a comfy dance🌠 ⚡️Alchemy of Fusion⚡️— a premier fusion partner dance with FREE class, FREE tea, FREE snacks, and a beautiful dance floor. 👉Co-hosted by GoenEvents, a creator or meaningful encounters, and The Berkeley Alembic, a nonprofit committed to body-mind transformation, WE CO-CREATE MAGIC WITH YOU.✨ 😊NO experience or partner required for this event - come as you are, take the class, meet people in the tea lounge 🍵🫖, or stay on the dance floor until the end! 🕑SCHEDULE🕑 7:30-8:30pm BEGINNERS Class by A'lan and Anđela💃 INCLUDED (FREE!) with admission 8:30-11:30pm Fusion Social with DJ's 💃CLASS TOPIC💃 In the Dark We Bloom: A Blindfolded Micro Fusion Journey by A'lan and Anđela Deep below the soil, the see takes root in the dark. For us, spring invites us inward before we bloom outward. Taught blindfolded (or with eyes closed), this cozy, playful workshop invites you to shed visual habits and discover a new way of moving through sensation and intuition. Together, we’ll explore how to expand our subtle movement vocabulary, tune into the language of touch, and develop refined proprioception. Through solo, partner, and group exercises, we’ll awaken deep listening and explore the beauty of micro-movements that translate across all styles and sizes of dance. This class is designed to help you trust your body, deepen your connection to your partner and the floor, and play with the quiet power of presence. No partner needed. All levels welcome. Come as you are—and bring your stuffed animal if you like.
