He is skilled in all Brazilian partner dance styles and began dancing in 1996 at Centro de Dança Jaime Arôxa, the largest dança de salão Academy in Brazil. Alex is a highly sort after performer, choreographer and instructor who is always on the move, remaining a constant source of inspiration to Zouk dancers all over the world. He has taught many of the world’s leading Zouk Lambada Dancers including Kadu & Larissa, Daniela Wergles, Rafael de Fabio Oliveira Vicente, William & Paloma and Alisson & Audrey. Alex has been traveling around the world for years with more than 150 events attended (many of these in Australia). And his classes a fun, energetic and full of love and technique for his students. ► Daniela Wergles is a member of the Alex de Carvalho Dance Company and one of the professional instructors from Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho where she specialises in Zouk Lambada, Samba de Gafieira, Samba no Pé, Salsa on 1, Salsa on 2, Bolero, Brazilian Swing (Soltinho), Forró, Cha-Cha-Cha, Merengue, Rock, Lindy-Hop and Tango. Along with Dança de Salão, Daniela also studies Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Daniela also studies music, classical singing and is a professional singer of MPB (popular Brazilian music), and has performed at many important events throughout Brazil, Europe and Australia.
